Smoking Booths

Smoking booths are a relatively new idea in the United Kingdom, but are well established in Europe. The booth is placed in a room (they normally require just a domestic 240V electricity supply) and smokers move into the booth to smoke.

The booth is equipped with powerful fans that carry smoke directly from the lit cigarette and through a series of filters before returning the cleaned air to the room.

Well-constructed smoking booths are surprisingly effective with no smoke drift from the open side of the booth into the surrounding room, and no detectable tobacco smell in the discharged air.
